Governmental Affairs, Regulatory Law and Licensing

Governmental policies can dramatically affect businesses, professionals and organizations in a variety of ways. These policies are often complex and are subject to frequent change through the legislative process. I represent clients before the Florida legislature, as well as Florida regulatory and administrative agencies.

I assist individuals, business and nonprofits with:

  • Developing and coordinating legislative strategies
  • Drafting and analyzing legislation and proposed rules
  • Assist in forming and managing coalitions
  • Legislative Bill tracking
  • Issue analysis
  • Policy development
  • Public policy research

Regulatory Law and Licensing

Licensed professionals and licensed businesses may be the subject of a Florida or local governmental agency’s administrative or regulatory action. Should you or your business ever be asked to comply with a state or local government’s regulatory action that you think is unfair, or if you as a professional have to respond to a licensing board disciplinary action, you should seek competent legal representation. I have experience representing members of various professions before professional licensing boards and in agency regulatory matters.
